do you guys think it makes sense to have a subcategory under announcements for events? Mainly I am thinking about my upcoming Directory Convention, but I know there are many other seo related events going on and coming up!

Yea, I have to agree. Those are very few and far between. I don't think it is worth a category just for that.

ok no worries, I was thinking about also the SES Conventions, Webmaster world etc. Not sure how many of you guys attend those, but I know some of the directory owners do.
