I have read on a few forums where the general consensus is with the one eyed PR chasers and the never ending reductions ( seemingly overnight ) of PR that many kids are now turning up their toes as to the validity of opening and or running of a directory with the word now being there are better ways to make some $ on line.

Without going into the pro's and con's of PR or my own beliefs in it, this general wave of opinion sweeping the directory business is simply the best news i have heard.

It is my own personal belief that the more this message is spread the better, in that if a majority of the QBC (and yes i will say that) believe there are better options out there then they will disperse from the directory industry and follow the other paths opening for them to make their quick bucks and to make their 2 minute management decisions.

In turn what we may be left with is the people who want to run directories for their intended purpose, this then would see the industry as a whole improve, the resources like these forums, the people, the support and every other aspect of the directory industry take a step into the more respected and represented stage finally growing up to be what it should be a respected and well run business over and above the current wave of so called directories run by the kids of the QBC gang that are nothing more than crap dragging everything around it down.

One can only hope.
