PHPLinkBid owner is back, pending 1.4 release! - Talk Directories

I just got an email from Gabe and it seems he is now back and with a new staff to update PHPLinkBid:

Greetings,

If you don't already know me, I would like to introduce myself. My name is Gabe, a.k.a. Tekime, and I am the creator/owner of phpLinkBid. I'm sending this email to provide a much needed update on the goings-on here at phpLinkBid!

Some of you may know that I am celebrating my new daughter, who was born on September 2nd! September was very challenging as we introduced Isabel Mae Harper to the world, and a bit of a blur at times, but we are home now and settling in nicely and Isabel is absolutely wonderful. I look forward to introducing Isabel in the forums and sharing a few of the thousand or so photos I've taken already!

Last month we also welcomed Brad Knight to our team, who will be heading up our support department as we work hard to improve our level of support. Unfortunately last week Brad experienced a tragic personal loss and is unable to work. We hope to have hime back in a few days. Brad has been a big help and an important part of the phpLinkBid team already.

Many of us are anxiously awaiting the new v1.4 release which has been delayed for well over a month now. v1.4 is nearly ready for release - and now that things have settled down a bit I am able to focus on the last stages of the release.

Keep your eyes peeled for an email regarding our edge release. Without any further surprises we will be releasing the final beta for public use this week. Upon final release we will be changing our license and support pricing slightly so that we can offer a better product in a more timely manner down the road.

Thanks for your continued support and patience, and I look forward to introducing Isabel and the new version in the very near future!

Good to see the script will be updated soon as many people lost hope with it.

about time. I got several mods awaiting install, wil have to upgrade zorg links and all its mods, got 5 templates awaiting coding and got loads of people wanting me to upgrade to 1.4 for them

Its going to be a right mess, thats if the new version actually comes out...

This release has really been pended a lot. I am also planning to get a custom design on my site.
