How often do you add authority sites to your directory? Ex: The Weather Channel, CNN, ESPN, DMOZ, Google, Yahoo, etc. Do you search for these sites and actively add them to your index? What are your thoughts on this..

I generally will start with the category Arts and work my way down. You can go to Alexa.com for the Movers and Shakers and Top 500 to add to your directories rather than keep searching on Google for quality sites to add.

I do similar to what WWWS does. I start at the beginning of my categories and search for quality sites to add to my less populated categories. It's not something I do every day and don't have any certain schedule or plan...just as time permits I use a variety of resources such as DMOZ and other directories. I spend time editing and re-writting the discriptions rather than simply copy/pasting them so the content isn't identical.

Its always good to see authority sites listed amongst regular listings. If I come across a top quality directory I generally add it to BestDirs.com
