Looking for a new home since the dialogue has been effectively squashed else where.

I guess they are something to be feared.

Yeah, why not? Bid directories are directories so talk away. Just don't start any drama.

I would like to continue my research on Bid for Position directories though.
I just don't know how to proceed though.

I will build the initial list from the Bid Directory announcements thread at
http://www.directorynetwork.org/bid-position/

How about we give everyone a few days to get their directories in there for the first page of the list?

Those directories announced by June 5 will be included. Just because 05/06/07 looks like a good date...

After that announcements can be made in the list thread.

I will be announcing these forums officially today (June 2nd) around 6PM CST, which should start activity again here.

I will also be launching an ad campaign and contests so this should really increase announcements.

Once we get the list rolling do you think we can get a sticky at the top of the announcements ... just point Bid directory owners to the major threads that might interest them?

Chasing each announcement down is sort of what got me in trouble.

lots of good people are banned at dp. Any reason why they banned you?

I still updating the strongest list based on input from directory owner since I'm unable to using the tools. Considering sign up for premium member, thats what seomoz want me to do lol

To be honest I bent a few rules promoting The List. But it's not like I was spamming my own site ... I was just promoting threads within their forum. I just wish someone had warned me at least once before banning me.

We had a pretty strong community going for a while, maybe it was fear!

Well, it's a good thing you came here. You don't have to worry about rep or anything at Directory Network. It's a place for directory owners to come and chill out.

If I ever skate too close to some line ... a simple tap on the shoulder is all I ever needed to stop and think about it.

I already feel at home and comfortable with the group that is here.
