I haven't actually tried any of the others on the list from the admin side, but I can say I like submitting to PHP Link Directory sites better than any others. Therefore, I like to use it to provide the same experience for submitters.

I've tried site-sift and phpld only and I like both...Each of them has its own advantages.

I used WSNLinks. It's ok, but definitely not as easy as PHPLD to run.

I've heard Powerseek is also great, except that the license is $xxx.

I haven't tried any scripts other than PHPLD, but with some of the mods from an0n it's pretty nice over the basic script.

I'd like to see them all compared on a graph for functionality, price, etc.

Someone needs to do that.

We coded our own years ago so we like that best Which we use daily for travel business

But would have to say back on topic phpld has a very receptive user experience factor so far as submitting a listing goes

(was that some sort of IQ test because when I went to vote on the Poll I voted and then looked at the results and everyone had voted the same)

Am I now accepted to this forum

Yeah, it's a bit one sided. Maybe i shouldn't have put PHPLD in there and seen what people would have picked.

yeah, seems like most of the features already built in. I may try it on my new directory though, read somewhere on dp forum that the owner is giving a promotion price for dp members, 1 domain license for only $50.

WSN is just light years away from anything else?

During years i have seen all types of scripts for all types of functionalities, and never found something so well coded and so customizable as WSN.

For me the developer of WSN is a coding genius..

On the bad side is a little bit hard to master, but is the price you pay for powerful functionalities.
