The Million Dollar Wiki was created by Graham Langdon, a 21 year old senior from the University of Connecticut. Its alot like Wikipedia, except each page is owned by someone. Every page is dedicated to a unique word or phrase. The content on each page is controlled by the page?s owner. You can purchase your very own page for $100. Graham apparently is planning to sell 10,000 pages and to earn his million bucks. It should be noted that trademarked names can only be bought by the owners of said trademark, and these pages will cost a whopping $1,000. It is an interesting concept so I thought I?d share it with you. It does seem to be building momentum in the webmaster community. There has been a bit of buzz about it. It wouldn?t surprise me if Graham manages to make his million. NOTE: I already claimed this page. :p

Another interesting million dollar idea. I think it would have been better in the long run to make the domain not so cliche to the other million dollar pixel site because the Milliondollarhomepage hype has significantly died down and I'm willing to bet the investment is dwindling.

the hype surrounding this is immense. The site is gaining loads of natural backlinks. If you buy a page and the homepage turns PR7, the page you bought could turn PR6. I have heard people are making a lot of money from their page, and its sending them a lot of traffic. How many times do you search google and a subpage of wiki appears in the top 5? imagine if the milliondollarwiki was almost as good, and your page was ranking high purely because the main site was strong. Its almost like a shared website - we all contribute - we all get a good ROI I'm going to email graham and see if he will accept paypal, then i'll go buy some nice keyword rich pages | ||

It wont be affected in google, as it is just like buying or hosting a web page! Nothing like selling or buying links.

Everyquery, are you getting any traffic to your sites from this listing? Does the MDW give you stats of visitors TO your MDW page? | ||
