All phpLD Designers beware - Talk Directories

hello my fellow phpLD designers,

i am writing this post to identify a scammer in your eyes so you guys stay away and don't waste your time.

a few days back i got a custom design request and the guy paid me $150 (50% Down payment)

In which i made clear that $125 is refundable and the other $25 is not if he doesn't like my mock up versions.

Well after two tries he was not satisfied with my design and he said that my skills weren't as good. (No problem)

I issued the refund of $125 as i mentioned. Even after that i got a paypal dispute with saying he expects $25 more.

In his last email:

I dont know his digitalpoint username, but here is the site he will be asking the design for:

NASCAR, Formula 1, Auto Racing, Moto Racing, Cars, Bikes, PINKS and more! - SPEEDtv.com << Apparently whoever is designing he wants you to rip that design of even when he says he doesn't want it similar he wants it exactly like that.

If you know his username here then reveal it. Otherwise just stay cautious because i am sure you don't want to waste your time.

I spoke with the buyer, and I believe he has now given the $25 to Syed.
Let me know if that is not correct, Syed.

If true, thats good news. Still a great shame that Syed only makes $25 for his hard work.

not true ... Paypal Dispute is still open ...

He had 2 days to respond according to paypal ... and the buyer did not respond ... because otherwise it would've shown that the buyer has taken the claim back .. but it waited until the assign date Feb 26th when paypal was going to review whether the buyer replies or not.

Therefore the paypal claim is now under the reviewal of paypal.

i wonder what he have to say to that david.

Yes, please let me know how things progress. I don't mind speaking with him again, but understand if paypal may take a few days to review it. He told me he was going to give you the money, so please let me know after the paypal is resolved.
