A custom design definitely says a lot about a directory. Some of the templates available are really good too, though. On one hand, it says something that the owner is invested enough to get a custom design and cares about the directory, etc. However, if the owner is on a more limited budget, I can certainly appreciate the funds from that being saved and spent on promotion instead, which will be of greater benefit for listed sites, and then use one of the high quality templates. I have sponsored quite a few of them. There are some really good ones available. |
