unfortunately there is no way to remove the footer links since this theme is sponsored and they have paid to keep their links there

I am glad to hear that you are going to use theme. Ever since i published this theme, there have been some minor changes with the navigation (RSS links), sidebar (improved widget support).

I would strongly encourage you to download new version. And I will like to see your new blog when it is completed
