The Million Dollar Wiki was created by Graham Langdon, a 21 year old senior from the University of Connecticut. Its alot like Wikipedia, except each page is owned by someone. Every page is dedicated to a unique word or phrase. The content on each page is controlled by the page?s owner.
You can purchase your very own page for $100. Graham apparently is planning to sell 10,000 pages and to earn his million bucks. It should be noted that trademarked names can only be bought by the owners of said trademark, and these pages will cost a whopping $1,000.
It is an interesting concept so I thought I?d share it with you. It does seem to be building momentum in the webmaster community. There has been a bit of buzz about it. It wouldn?t surprise me if Graham manages to make his million.
