I was browsing DigitalPoint and happened to click on one of the member's websites,
EveryQuery, and began looking around their directory.
I noticed they had a blog, so I clicked, and I came upon a very interesting post about the latest fuss over Shoemoney's blog being taken out of DMOZ.
According to EveryQuery: Quote:
It appears that Shoemoney was not honest in his post about being extorted by a corrupt DMOZ editor, or at the very least, he wasn’t telling the whole story.

Here is a live link to Shoemoney’s bribe attempt in 2005. He clearly is soliciting corrupt DMOZ editors to list one of his websites. He offers $1,000. If he was, in fact, contacted by an editor offering to list him for a large sum of money (who knows if that was really true), then he brought it on himself making posts like the one above.
