I guess there is no absolute. For example, Google does rank high BH sites or even obvious SE spam sites. But then G eventually finds them and de-index them.
I would think that the risk is higher if you build links too fast, and as many confirmed, sandbox phenomenon would occur. In my case, I never experienced that as I never built links that fast. But it happened in Yahoo!. There are more people who have experienced Yahoo! sandbox actually. |
